When we use the 200ul boxed filter long tips （96well） to adjust the range, if we want to adjust the volume from a large volume to a small volume, just turn the knob counterclockwise according to the normal adjustment method. However, if you want to adjust from small volume to large volume, you can first rotate the scale knob clockwise to the scale that exceeds the range, and then return to the set volume, which can ensure high measurement accuracy. During this process, do not turn the button out of range, as this will jam the internal mechanism and damage the pipette.
The correct method is to insert the pipette vertically into the pipette tip and turn it slightly left and right to make it tightly combined. If it is a multi-channel (such as 8 or 12) pipette, you can align the pipette with the tip, then insert it obliquely, and shake it back and forth to lock. The sign of the tip clamping is slightly over the O-ring, and it can be seen that the connecting part forms a clear seal. After use, it can be hung upright on the pipette holder, but be careful not to drop it. When there is liquid in the pipette tip, do not place the pipette horizontally or upside down, so as to prevent the liquid from flowing back and corroding the piston spring.
